Lynch calls for Carrigaline Bus service to be reexamined

Cllr Ciaran Lynch is calling for the reexamination of the bus service between Cork and Carrigaline. The present bus service does not reflect the growing need of Carrigaline town which is grown several-fold over the last number of years.

Cllr Lynch said: “Over the last number of months I have been visiting the Carrigaline area and calling to the residents’ homes as part of my general election campaign and a reoccurring comment on the doorstep is the current bus service provided to the town.

“I have written to Bus Eireann on this matter asking them to both extend the present bus service and to generally improve and most importantly upgrade the service.”
